As we saw Yuvraj straight away cut loose today. PWI Pune Warriors saw home after loosing in a row 6 matches.
For kings XI its 5 losses in a row. Except Marsh no really seemed to be in touch. Paul Valthaty was ok though he couldn’t play long as in last matches.
Mumbai Indians and Pune Warriors rule
Mumbai Indians and Pune warriors have nothing much common between them as far as IPL performance is concerned. If MI are ruling the IPL points table PWI are loosing games to make the base strong.
Though hard to find, if we search for the commonalities between them, search trends are one of the stages where both these tops form the top 2. Yes in spite of Dismal performance Pune warriors is the 2nd most searched IPL team after Mumbai Indians. Search trends generally indicate the fan following for the respective teams on Internet.
Lets have a look at the search trend graphs:
Below are three graphs made so that confusion will be avoided. In each graph Pune warriors is taken as reference and will have base value of 1. In first graph Pune warriors compared to south teams. In second graph Pune warriors is compared to Mumbai Indians. In third it is compared to North IPL teams.
Here is the order in which teams are being searched:
| 1 | 1.4 | Mumbai Indians |
| 2 | 1.0 | Pune Warriors |
| 3 | 0.88 | Deccan Chargers * |
| 3 | 0.88 | Chennai Super kings |
| 5 | 0.82 | Kochi Tuskers |
| 6 | 0.7 | Knight Riders |
| 7 | 0.68 | Rajasthan Royals |
| 8 | 0.62 | Delhi Daredevils |
| 9 | 0.52 | Kings Punjab |
| 10 | 0.34 | Royal Challengers |

Royal Challengers and Kings XI Punjab along with other teams in North rank last in this table of search trends. However one thing is evident, there is no relation between the team performance and craze or fans on internet.

| DADA NOW IN IPL 4 WITH | PUNE WARRIORS INDIA |
 | |
Sourav ganguly the dada is in IPL 4 now. News real as Ashish Nehra of pune warriors is injured and Ashish worth in il falls in same slot as Ganguly slot ! So the no dada no IPL campaign comes to an end !!
Will Ganguly change the fortunes of pune warriors . Whatever might happen it will be great to see another IPL with dada and his heroics.
Important:
1. Ganguly will not be captaining Pune Warriors. He will play under Yuvraj Singh. All agreements have been made regarding that.
2. Ganguly needs to train with the team and prove his fitness before he can play for next match. So his inclusion in match with Mumbai Indians is doubtfull
3. But Dada himself has announced that he has been practicing before the IPL itself and he also said that fingers crossed if he gets a chance he can directly play for team as he will be fit. So hopes still on for Sachin and Ganguly facing each other in next IPL MI vs PW game.
4. Beloved dada was also quoted saying that he did not joing Pune Warriors and so did not negotiate any amount with Pune Warriors. He reportedly said that he wants to join back IPL 4 only to prove a point as he had some unfinished business. Only DADA can do that. A website wrote that dada is being desperate in joining Pune or trying too much for joining IPL 4. Have they forgotten all the insult that was done to one of the India’s greatest captain, who showed India what being aggressive is ?? I request all Indian cricket fans to report abuse that article which is completely baseless. He will show what he can be. If Dravid and Laxman can play in IPL, then ganguly deserves to play as more that that.
5. Before this good news a lot of Hungama happened here with Kochi franchise and Pune franchise itself with reports coming in that Jayawardene will be replated by dada. But it did not happen as he stayed back with the permission of Sri lankan cricket board.
Big Cheers for him for coming back.

Check the video where sourav himself confirmed about some things. He will speak in press conference when he gets the home ground of warriors.
Saurav Ganguly tops the trends in India for 5 hours!! He is 4th in World trends only 2 places after Osama!! Source: Twend.it
Being a Karnataka Player he was an obvious choice for Royal Chellengers Bangalore and was taken over from Mumbai Indians. In 2009 season he used the chance given to score a valuable hundred against the eventual champions Deccan chargers. In the season that followed Manish Pandey scored a decent 249 runs.
RCB saw a slump towards a end in the last season though they were once initially very comfortably placed in IPL 3. As the team has some tense moments, support staff and fans were using all the statistics to calculate net run rate which would take them to top 4. While all this was happening Manish’s manager was aggressively contacting other IPL franchises about next season auction. Some concerned cricketers in RCB management who approached Manish for a friendly advice were asked to talk to his manager on a rude note. This virtual action of packing bags before the party did frustrate the management. It’s understandable that a player plans his future but not when the team is up ahead on the hill and can’t concentrate on other issues. He could have done that all along six months after IPL 3.
Unlucky you might call it or he deserved it, IPL management committee came up the rule that unless you play 5 years of domestic cricket i.e the uncapped players can’t be part of the auction. All his plans of roping in a big sum were shattered. He could have either accepted RCB contract or just reject it as he did and go for any other team of his choice. That is understandable as his decision might be based on several experiences with RCB. Before auction it was yet an another mistake to rope in his manager again to deal with several franchises and set up an un-official dealing with who-ever pays the most. RCB who were angered with moves in end of previous seasons were not ready to pay anything more than fixed contract amount suggested by IPL management. This issue came out to later which resulted in a ban of Manish Pandey for 4 IPL matches.
As a previous cricketer I know how such situations like these effect the performances. Their priority should be to play their best cricket, improve and reinforce themselves towards playing for the Nation. In cricket crazy country with a cash rich board “Moolah” will just follow. Young talented cricketers like Manish should realize that they have an easy 10 years to earn anything they want if they keep improving their cricket. With remote talents getting discovered you wouldn’t want to loose to the competition as you shit focus from the game. Looking for small bucks now you would not want to place yourself in embarrassing situations which can effect your performances. The ban and 4 match gap definitely would have some negative effect on his performance this season.
It can be frustrating to see some players few seasons older than him get big contracts. But patience is the key as performing good in this season will be guarantee a big price in auctions to come for which he will become eligible with extra year of domestic experience.I hope Manish performs great for Pune Warriors who are down with 4 losses and wins get big contract next year. Wish him good luck.
