Shane Warne announced today in the micro-blogging site that this IPL 4 is season is certainly the last season he will play for Rajasthan royals. This makes him retire / say good-bye/ quit from all forms of cricket. He has already quit playing international cricket in tests and one-day games. He also was focused on Rajasthan Royals RR’s campaign this year as he wished to win at least 2 games in last 4 and make it to play-offs. He requested fans, followers in India to come to the ground and support himself and Rajasthan Royals in last few games of his international cricket. Rajasthan have 2 games left one vs Chennai and other Vs Bangalore at home. Warne was confident of repeating the Indian Premier League 1 as he sees a similar spirit in his team. He expressed that Indian cricket has been the real winner out of his campaign with Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur India.
Requests from fans started pouring in appreciating his bowling and asking him to continue in further seasons. But Warne again confirmed that this will certainly be the last IPL he will play and he will give his best for last 4 games see Rajasthan win in IPL 4. He conveyed his regards to his teammates who helped it make the games of IPL fun and enjoyable in all four seasons. He thanked all the fans to whom he expressed that he always tried to be entertaining on field to them. Legendary spinner says that cricket has been more like a hobby and less like a typical job to him. What is a better way to love cricket other than just enjoying it. Warne has shown us the results of it.
But all is not over for Warne and IPL combination as he signaled that he will be involved in IPL re-mentoring / coaching. But he also left it to time and said that his focus will be doing his best for Rajasthan Royals RR now.
So RR fans have one more reason to go to the ground and support their team, in respect for Warne the great in his last days of professional cricket. Lets hope he leaves on a high.
