RCB are one of favorites to win the league! Here’s Why !!

It’s time to shout “RCB” “RCB” RCB” in Chinnaswamy again ! Its time to wear the maroon jersey AGAIN!! :)

Now coming to the team: the specialty of this refreshing “Bengaluru” side is it has perfect blend of youth and experience, everyone in form. Kumble is mentoring and Rey Jennings is coaching this blend. A bunch of experienced players in Dilshan, Dirk Nannes, Zaheer Khan, AB Devilries, Johan Van derwath, Langeveldt and also bunch of young talented players in Virat Kohl Mayank agarwal, Abhimanyu Mithun, Chatheswar Pujara, Saurabh Tiwary and Asad Pathan blend perfect.

RCB is real envy and fear for any opponent as it has 2 batsman Dilshan and AB Devliers and 2 bowlers Vettori and Nannes each of them being top10 players in t20 format currently. Further with extremely talented 4 India batsman kohli, Saurabh Tiwary Pujara and off course Mayank Agarwal and two good Indian bowlers in Zaheer and Mithun.

A closer look at youngsters:

Nothing much has to be told about Shinkhar Dhawan :) He has been both consistent and attacking for MI..

Mayank Agarwal is India U19 team opening batsman. He was man of the series in KPL 2nd season. He is believed to be the next big player for India with Sehwag like instincts. He was with Rajasthan Royals last season but could not get a chance to play much.

Gujarat based Asad Pathan is like the next Yusuf Pathan :) Seems little exagerated ? Read on. This Powerful hitter played for Railways. Reportedly his 2 innings of “Navdeep Cup” (State-level ODI tournament of Guajarat) Quarter final and Semi-final of 100 and 88 in 52 balls each. He also had 5 wicket haul in Semi-final. Well what more could any team expect.

Abhimanyu mithun: This Right arm medium fast bowler with 52 wickets in 10 FC matches. He has already made debut with Indian team in tests and ODI. 10 weeks after he made First class debut he was called for being a part of Indian Test squad in SA. Young bowler who can be some times can be expensive but if properly groomed he can be as effective as he is in FC cricket.

Strengths: In form Foreign players, Perfect blend of youth and experience, Talented Indian players.

Weakness: Not a huge drawback but missing one more Indian bowling option other than Mithun. Virat Kohli / Dilshan would combined fit the role.

I can’t see such talent in bowling and batting departments in other teams except MI.

However feels little sad not to have “Our Wall” and “Jumbo” in our team !! Doesn’t it ? for you ?

This time RCB are One of my Favorites to win the league :) How about yours ??? “Namma Bengaluru” Obviously :)
