It’s time to shout “RCB” “RCB” RCB” in Chinnaswamy again ! Its time to wear the maroon jersey AGAIN!! :)
RCB – A team which was called a test team in Season 1 and finished up last 2nd. And next year we saw sea change in them when Kumble took over the captaincy in South Africa. They’ve always looked aggressive and charged up since them. RCB shined in South Africa by making it to finals and loosing after giving a tough fight do DC in 2009. We saw a different Dravid, Kumble and Kallis who adapted themselves to the T20 format so well. Rossy and Uthappa’s “Big hits” entertained us.
This strong team even in the next season 2010, looked with same vigor under the the leadership of Kumble, They made to the last 4 but Lost to MI in a SF on a bad day. However they RCB threw DC out ruthlessly and made it to Champions League ‘10 for second time in a row.
And Now here we are with Recharged – Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2011 :)
