Deccan Chargers hungry for a win against Strong Mumbai

Deccan Chargers, highly inconsistent in last 5 matches which they played have just 2 wins. After loosing first 2 matches they came back very strongly in match against RCB with all around performance. In the very next match their bowlers miserably failed against stronger batting line-up in Kings XI Punjab.  Again, they came back to winning by containing Delhi Daredevils batsman. After gap from a win with Delhi Daredevils they must be hungry to get back to back victories to move closer to their targets.

Mumbai on the other hand has been doing very good both as a team and with individual performances. Birthday Boy Sachin Tendulkar is in unquestionable form and would want to take birthday gift of a win from their Co-Mumbai Indian Players. Rayudu, Rohit and Symonds are fitting the roles assigned to them. Harbhajan and Malinga seem to be at their best too. Especially Harbhajan and Rohit fresh from the revenge achieved against CSK look to be in perfect touch.

For DC batting hasn’t been too much a problem even though they don’t have star batsman other than Sangakara and Saurabh Tiwary. Bharat Chipli and Sunny Sohal have occasionally clicked.

For Chargers bowling will be crucial as they are up against a very strong MI side. Dale steyn and Gony who have been in good form in mostly containing runs would look up to increasing their wicket tally against some great batsman of Mumbai. Amit Mishra & Ishant Shrama who have been on and off would look up to finding in Perfect rhythm and taking crucial wickets.

For Mumbai Ali Mortaza, Abu Nechim and Pollard performances will become important if Chargers have made big plans to tackle others. Especially Ali Mortaza has been going for too many runs and Deccan would readily target him. Abu has performed good in the chance that he got, but it remains to be seen how he will perform on relatively Flat pitch in of Hyderabad.

Importantly for Rohit Sharma and Andrew Symonds its time to show something to the old  franchise in the ex-home stadium against the ex-home crowd. Rohit played some brilliant innings in the same ground in inaugural edition even though Deccan could not make an impact. Interesting to see it that helps.

Lets hook up to the TV sets now … :)
